Each system has its unique features.  We have gathered information about several popular TPMS systems to do a side-by-side comparison. We have tested several brands and also familiarized ourselves with the features and options that they make available on the internet.

 

• Of the different systems described on this website under the heading "Different Systems," we have left the Indirect TPMS type out of this comparison chart since we have not seen that style of TPMS marketed to heavy trucks.

• The internal systems have the sensor inside the tire, while external systems have the sensor either on the valve stem or mounted to the wheel hub.
